The Nuvo Network is a shared, verified record of 200,000+ businesses and how they actually trade and pay. Instead of every supplier keeping a private file on the same customer, Nuvo connects it all on a shared context layer, so a business verified by one supplier arrives already verified for the next. That shared record is what every Nuvo product runs on, from customer onboarding through AR and collections.
Three sources: the businesses themselves, official records, and live trade activity. When a customer applies through Nuvo, their details are verified in real time against IRS, Secretary of State, USPS records, and credit data, including CreditSafe, D&B, Experian, Equifax, CreditRiskMonitor, NACM Commercial Services, and more. Payment activity flows in from suppliers' connected systems of record.
Your customer data stays yours. What moves across the network is a narrow set of verified business attributes like a corrected address, or the right AR contact for a trade reference. Your invoices, balances, and payment terms aren't shared, and Nuvo doesn't pool your trade history into a resalable credit product the way a bureau does. You can learn more about our security and data privacy posture on our trust center.
A credit report is a point-in-time snapshot. The network is live and real time. A typical trade credit report is around three months old and carries about eight trade lines. The Nuvo Network draws on invoice-level payment activity as it happens across 200,000+ businesses, so you see how a customer is paying now, not how they paid last quarter. Nuvo isn't a bureau and doesn't replace one; we partner with the leading credit bureaus so businesses can access their preferred bureau data. The network is the layer on top that no bureau can see when you're making a credit decision or .

The industry average for trade references is that they are completed about 22% of the time. When a customer is already on the Nuvo Network, however, their trade history is there at application, including verified payment behavior with other suppliers. No forms and no phone tag. When they aren't, Nuvo runs the reference request and the follow-ups, so it's off your team's desk either way.
Fraud repeats, and siloed systems can't see the repeat. A business that went under six months ago can reappear under a slightly different name, and on your own records, there's nothing to catch it. Because Nuvo is a verified business network that continues to grow (400% year over year last year), a pattern flagged by one supplier surfaces for everyone. Every application is checked against IRS, Secretary of State, and SSA records, with IP, timestamp, domain age, and address signals captured alongside it. The same checks protect outgoing payments when you're onboarding vendors as well.
No. You can onboard any customer through Nuvo whether or not they're already in the network. When a customer is already verified, onboarding is faster because their details are pre-filled. When they aren't, onboarding them as a customer also adds them to the network. The next supplier they trade with on the Nuvo Network starts from a verified record instead of a blank form.
